About Us

The history of the company dates back to 1992, when we started our business as a sole proprietorship. With the gradual expansion of our range of services, we moved from operating a welding school and carrying out minor welding orders to the production and assembly of weldments. In 2001, the sole proprietorship Kolář-TESTSVAR was transformed into a limited liability company, carrying out larger and more complex construction projects. We hold the ISO 9001:2016 certificate in conjunction with ČSN EN ISO 3834-2:2006. As one of the few companies, we are certified for both metal and thermoplastic welding (technical code for thermoplastic welding in ČEZ). Furthermore, we hold a certificate for the execution of steel structures according to ČSN EN 1090-1:2009 (EXC3), including the Initial Type Testing Certificate for steel structures.

From our original focus on general construction, we have gradually specialized in welded structures and media piping systems made of both metals and plastics, as well as the production of steel structures. To a lesser extent, we also carry out smaller transport infrastructure projects.

We have professional staff, technical equipment, and the appropriate facilities at our disposal.

In addition to construction activities, we operate a vocational training center, which explains the "Group" designation in the company's name. ESK is an acronym for our main vision and company motto: "Ekonomické/Ekologické Stavby Kolář" (Economical/Ecological Construction Kolář).

The goal of the company’s owners is not to build a massive conglomerate offering all types of construction work, but to run a well-functioning, flexible company that repeatedly carries out specialized orders to the full satisfaction of its clients.
